it's cold and rainy outside. i'm happy with where my relationship is with my partner. i started getting up at 5am to go to the gym. i hate my body right now. i'm too lazy in general. working on positive habits. medication has me gaining too much weight.

reading funny and thoughtful posts about what it's like in a mental health facility. i was in one for a week or so last april. it was a good experience, and it helped me get a lead on this whole self-improvment thing i've been doing. it's dark when i leave for work and it's dark when i get home. i've been thinking about what it means to accept yourself. to acknowledge things about yourself that you wish weren't there, and to allow self praise for things you are good at. i've hated myself from the time i was just post-pubescent. i am trying to figure out what it means to love myself. it seems too difficult, but maybe i can fake it til i make it.
